Beloved DJ Pierre Cordina Steps Back From Bay Easy As He Embarks On A New Journey
Beloved DJ Pierre Cordina announced that he will be stepping back from Bay Easy’s Breakfast show in a wholesome video uploaded to his social media pages earlier today.
“Yesterday, I met someone who enjoys listening to the programme – especially because of the positivity we promote, which they said helps them cultivate gratitude for the things in their life.”
“These simple words made me stop and think. *The last 22 months producing and presenting this program was an incredible experience. We created something extraordinary together,” he said. “But behind this microphone, there is a person who is self-employed, a hard-worker at the office as well as in a shop, and there is also a father of a four-year-old girl.”
“In these last months, I almost never saw her wake up in the morning, I could never make her breakfast or walk her to catch a van to school,” said Cordina.

So, after reflecting on the matter and seeking help, Cordina decided that he would take a step back from the breakfast show. “I decided to practice what I preach during the program. Tomorrow will be my last breakfast show on bay easy,” he emotionally shared.
Cordina went on to thank the DeCesare family, David Vella, his producers, Matthew Hardy and all his colleagues who have helped him to produce Bay Easy and 89.7 Bay.
“Above all, I say thank you to all my listeners who appreciated the programs I produced, for all the comments and for the messages you sent. Tomorrow won’t be the last time we’re speaking.”
