Flute, Violin And Piano? Pjazza Teatru Rjal’s Chamberfest Has Something Special Lined Up

Pjazza Teatru Rjal’s Iljieli fit-Teatru ’25 – Chamberfest series is bringing something a little different to the stage—an evening dedicated to the unique chamber trio of flute, violin and piano.
Taking centre stage is the Janascharco Trio, a powerhouse ensemble featuring Natascha Chircop (flute), Tatjana Chircop (violin) and Marco Rivoltini (piano).
Founded in 1996, these three have made waves across the international music scene, performing everywhere from France and England to Syria and Italy—not to mention multiple appearances at Gozo’s Victoria International Arts Festival.

Their setlist? A captivating mix of 20th-century works by Mel Bonis, Ethel Smyth, Philippe Gaubert and Bohuslav Martinu, all leading up to a grand finale featuring music by the legendary Joseph Vella—whose extraordinary chamber music they even recorded on a dedicated CD.
