A 45-year-old man from Ħal Tarxien is at risk of dying following an accident in a garage which took place yesterday afternoon.

The incident, which occurred around 4.00pm in Triq id-Dejma, saw the scaffolding collapse while the man was carrying out some work.

Emergency services were called to the scene and the victim was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment. He was later certified to be suffering from serious injuries.

The Police are continuing their investigations into the incident.
