Watch: Momentum’s Arnold Cassola Invites Swieqi Residents To Protest Waste, Noise and Vandalism

Momentum’s Arnold Cassola invited the public to protest against rubbish, noise and vandalism that Swieqi has been experiencing.
“Buried in rubbish, noise and vandalism,” reads the protest’s slogan.
Momentum wrote in a statement that like many towns across Malta, Swieqi continues to grapple with challenges such as ineffective waste management, late-night disturbances, and widespread vandalism targeting cars, public infrastructure, and private property.
Among the invited speakers are representatives of the Swieqi Pressure Group, former Minister Evarist Bartolo, Mayor Noel Muscat, and Arnold Cassola.
Also joining the press conference are representatives from the Sliema and Valletta Residents’ Associations, who will voice their solidarity with the people of Swieqi.
The protest will be taking place on Sunday 31st August at 10am in Qantar street.
