Watch: ‘I Don’t Think You Know How Good That Was’ – 16-Year-Old Impresses X Factor Malta Judges With Original Song

X Factor Malta has returned to Malta’s screens… and tonight’s first episode was off to a great start with what would could be the islands’ next teenage singing sensation.
16-year-old student Amelia Kalabic was first up tonight, performing her own original song Running In Circles, and boy did she manage to impress the judges.

“I don’t think you know how good that was,” veteran judge Howard told the beaming teenager after her performance. All the other judges congratulated Amelia everything from her singing to her writing, with Ira Losco calling her “captivating” and telling she had completely engulfed the pop queen into this “world of teenage, Sixth Form love with very good storytelling”.
By the end, Amelia walked off stage with Four Yeses, being the first contestant to officially make it to this season’s X Factor Malta’s Bootcamp phase.
