Former Deputy Prime Minister Chris Fearne and Central Bank Governor Edward Scicluna are among 14 people, two companies, and a law firm that will head over to court this morning for accusations related to the Vitals Global Healthcare inquiry conclusions.

They are expected to appear in front of Magistrate Leonard Caruana at 11am. Fearne and Scicluna will be facing fraud charges.

Yesterday, Joseph Muscat, Konrad Mizzi, Keith Schembri and 11 others were also arraigned. They all pleaded not guilty to the charges they faced. However, outside the court was a large crowd that filled up the square chanting in solidarity with the former politicians and leaders.

They showed blind faith in the men and sheer dedication to their cause; some even waited all day in the scorching sun just to catch a glimpse of their exit.

The same vigour demonstrated yesterday outside of the courthouse is not expected for today’s arraignment, but it is possible that there will be some labour supporters protesting the charges.

What do you think about the charges they’re facing?
