‘Il-Bebbuxu’ Adrian Zammit Submits His Nomination For Upcoming MEP Elections
Maltese online personality Adrian Zammit has submitted his nomination for the upcoming MEP elections as an independent candidate.
Zammit, who hails from Marsa, was among the seven candidates who submitted their nominations on the first day of submissions for the European Parliament elections; Other candidates include current PN MEP David Casa, comedian James Ryder, and lecturer Simon Mercieca.
Zammit and Ryder are among the five independent candidates who submitted their nomination yesterday.
Zammit, better known as il-Bebbuxu, has gained prominence as a social media figure through his engaging Facebook live sessions. In these broadcasts, he offers his insights on current events while casually dining in his kitchen.
Zammit also won the Lovin Social Media Award for Best Influencer back in 2020.
The Maltese internet sensation announced his candidature with a homemade poster of him and one of his dogs, which said “vote for il-Bebbuxu” on 8th June. Zammit captioned the image, “Relax Goffy Thursday” – a phrase everyone knows all too well.
Zammit later posted a photo of himself officially submitting his nomination.
