They’re taking the usual three-course meal and throwing it out the window in favour of a six-course spread that runs in reverse to the usual starter, main, dessert flow.

Upside Down, held September 19th thru 20th, features a gourmet six-course meal in reverse.

The menu includes:

Dessert: parsnip udon, cinnamon sponge cake, basil consommé, and blood orange sorbet

Meat Course: confit belly of pork, shank bao bun, peaches, blackberry, sage and juniper ketchup

Fish Course: fresh local caught fish glazed in XO sauce, turnip, green apple, and avruga caviar

Palate Cleanser: strawberry sorbet, raspberry balsamic pearls, and shiso ice

Starter: venere nero rice, cracker, dashi, morbier

Amuse Bouche: ajo bianco, broccoli, green grapes, confit eggs yolk purée, almonds, garlic

Piced at €55 per person, you can upgrade the experience with a wine pairing for an extra €25.

Would you rather have dessert before your main meal?
