PS: Bring Deliveroo to Malta right now please.
1. Kuya (St. Julian’s)
The restaurant became an almost overnight sensation. Starting its life as a food truck, Kuya quickly affirmed its place in the heart of all Maltese, who love a little oriental. They don’t do deliveries but you’re welcome to pick up the food yourself and take it with you to the sofa instead.
2. TemptAsian (Sliema)
It’s an awesome rooftop restaurant on top of the Palace Hotel in Sliema that’s known for its amazing food and excellent service. They also serve takeout.
3. Benjawan Thai (Bugibba)
Further north than the rest, Benjawan Thai offers an authentic Thai cuisine experience. Six great Thai soup options which you could choose in start or main portions.
4. Blue Elephant (St. Julian’s)
A little pricier than the rest, but if you’re ok with spending a bit extra, it’s definitely worth a visit.
5. Rickshaw (Attard)
Rickshaw has been serving delicious asian fusion for decades now, and there’s a reason they’ve stuck around for so long!
6. Good Thaimes (Gzira)
Good Thaimes looks like the last place you’d expect to find awesome Thai food. But the rumours are true. This quaint bar in Gzira is also a restaurant which serves great Thai food, and an especially mean Pad Thai. Always nice to have good beer to go with your meal too.
7. MedAsia (Sliema)
MedAsia Fusion delivers a great menu including Ramen, Mediterranean soups and the Thai classic Tom Kha Gai chicken coconut soup with ginger, coriander, mushrooms, spring onions, bean sprout. It’ll set you back €6.75.
8. Hugo’s (Paceville)
Hugo’s basically sells everything under the sun, including some great Asian food that’s also available by delivery. Here are the eight soups on their latest delivery menu, including the Thai Prawn And Coconut Soup for €6.90.
9. Zest (St. Julian’s)
Zest is tried and tested by the Lovin Malta team. Their asian fusion delivery menu looks great too. Ira might want to order the Tom Kha Gai Soup with coconut, chicken and lemongrass. But it’ll set her back €12.
