If I had to choose between pizza and fried chicken, I’m honestly not sure which one I’d go for. Thankfully, it looks like I finally don’t have to choose… especially if I’m anywhere near Marsaskala.
The fried chicken mad geniuses over at CFC have only just rolled out a Crispy Chicken Pizza
Yes, my friends, you read that right.
Għaxaq’s all-local fried chicken franchise has gradually become somewhat of a cult favourite among lovers of all things chicken, and the opening of a second, much larger branch in Marsaskala last week perfectly proved that. But it’s not just a bigger space that’s made it onto CFC’s to-do list this month.
This beautiful creation unveiled over the weekend actually forms part of a brand new pizza menu that will exclusively be available at the new Marsaskala outlet
From more traditional items like Margeritas and Pepperonis to an option to create your own pizza, CFC has rolled out a selection of what they call “crispy pizzas”, ranging from just €5.90 to under €10. But as you’d expect, it’s that Crispy Chicken Pizza that’s stealing the spotlight.
Featuring bacon, onions, BBQ sauce and of course the now-already-iconic CFC breaded chicken, the Crispy Chicken Pizza is a beast that’s already managed to attract a whole lot of attention in the 24 hours it’s been announced. And yes, that includes myself (like, a lot of my attention actually).
So if you’re feeling the post-Santa Marija Monday blues and want to stuff them with some good pizza and even better fried chicken, you know what to do. Just maybe save me a slice? Pretty please?
