Malta’s McDonalds Has Scrapped The Big Tasty And People Are Losing Their Shit
The Big Tasty is no more. That’s right, after several years on the menu of Maltese McDonalds outlets, the much-loved burger has been suddenly axed without explanation.
And Maltese McDonalds fans were not happy at this change in menu, with some even going as far as to launch online petitions against McDonalds’ decision. One particularly passionate petition went as far as accusing the fast food chain of “tearing down its foundations”…
Some people warned McDonalds the move would hit it where it hurts most…its pockets.
Some reactions were a little bit over the top…
While some took the occasion to give some nutritional advice
And of course others just took the piss…
Yet although the Big Tasty may have gone, there remains some hope at the end of the tunnel for all its dedicated fans as the marketing gurus at McDonalds often pull popular items, only to bring them back in the future.
