Digital Campaign Creative
Do you spend most of your time on social media, wishing you could help shape and manage awesome campaigns and see them through from initial planning stages to their grand launch? Do you have a passion for all-things marketing with a history of project management? Are you an organised person who works well under pressure and meets deadlines for multiple campaigns?
Lovin Malta is looking for an experienced Digital Campaign Creative to run the corporate marketing branch of the company and act as a direct liaison and assistant to C-Level management.
The chosen candidate will be expected to:
- Be knowledgeable in and oversee in-house campaigns, projects and CSR initiatives
- Run the marketing stream for said programmes across all Lovin Malta’s social media platforms (including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, WhatsApp, Twitter, Google and email marketing)
- Work with our sales, creative, content and social media teams to produce and execute in-house projects
- Act as the company’s point-of-contact for third-party collaborations
- Serve as the tech support contact for social media platform troubleshooting
- Research and observe the market for new opportunities and social media features
- Serve as a liaison to each social media platform’s support hubs and be knowledgeable in the advertising, content and community policies of each platform
- Liaise with the company developers to advise and update websites and apps as necessary, and troubleshoot during periods of sudden downtime
- Advise the marketing campaigns of high-revenue clients in liaison with the sales and marketing teams
- Advise the email marketing streams of the commercial team
- Be answerable directly to the CEO and act as an assistant when running/implementing company-wide or brand-facing programmes
- Ensure the whole team is being trained in the respective social media policies or practices and provide/organise training where necessary
Candidates with an understanding of Meta family of products, Google family of products, WordPress and SEO will be given preference. An excellent command of both Maltese and English is a must.
Lovin Administrator
Are you a detail-driven person with an interest in news and current affairs? Do you want to form part of a dynamic team that drives the islands’ most followed media house? Lovin Malta is looking for a Lovin Administrator to help the company and the newsroom with the day-to-day operations.
The chosen candidate will be expected to:
- Distribute content using a cross-platform approach to reach over 500,000 readers and followers
- Scheduling content for weekends
- Maintain and update subscriber lists on our email marketing and WhatsApp lists
- Handle Lovin Roundup subscribers and unsubscribers
- Ensure the Lovin Google Drive is regularly populated, with tagged photos, and that all photos added to any communication channel are saved there
- Maintain and review our in-stream of messages across our social media and email inboxes
- Act as an office HR touchpoint and run all things HR related including recommending ways to improve work conditions
- Run the newsroom and social media team roster and the leave system
- Oversee the on-boarding and off-boarding process for employees
- Serve as the company’s de facto DPO
- Manage all office needs
- Oversee the implementation of company security + security policies
- Help the social media team and newsroom out with any additional tasks they may require assistance with on an as-needed basis
Candidates with advanced writing skills and an understanding of the latest trends in SEO and social media will have an edge. Previous experience in HR or office administration is also considered a plus.
Freelance Contributors and Journalists
Are you passionate about current affairs and writing? Do you want to work on some of the islands’ most groundbreaking investigations and news stories?
Lovin Malta is growing and we’re looking to hire journalists, content writers and contributors on a freelance basis. The job is ideal for people with an enthusiasm for news and a passion for storytelling who are seeking some extra income – be it as a part-time job or a potential step towards a potential career change. You’ll also be working a young and dynamic team with the opportunity to have your stories read and distributed to over 500,000 users across our social media channels.
We offer flexible working hours and the opportunity to work shifts remotely, however you will be required to make yourself available at different hours of the day depending on the schedule, including occasional weekend shifts.
Requirements for the job include proficiency in English and Maltese, strong communication and teamwork skills and a willingness to learn on the job. While we welcome all kinds of specialist writers, you will be expected to cover all kinds of news.
Past experience in journalism isn’t required but will be considered an asset. All applicants must possess a driving license.
Above all, we’re looking for people with a desire to keep people informed about what’s happening in Malta and a desire to make the country a better place to live in.
Senior/Junior sales executives
Do you consider yourself to be an ambitious and highly-motivated person? Are you able to work on meeting deadlines and achieving company goals?
We’re looking for energetic and enthusiastic salesperson/s to join our growing Sales Team as Senior or Junior executives. The ideal candidate is someone who is a great communicator and comfortable running meetings, while also possessing a creative spark to help drive innovative campaigns for our client base.
Candidates will also have the opportunity to better their sales skills throughout the course of their employment at Lovin Malta, working in direct collaboration with our Sales Director and C-Level management.
Selected candidates will be tasked with:
- Generating new leads
- Reaching out to new and existing clients
- Holding meetings with new and existing clients
- Coming up with creative ideas/campaigns and lead in-company efforts for seasonal or quarterly campaigns
- Executing ideas and working alongside the creative and marketing teams.
- Be answerable directly to the Sales Director and Head of Commercial
Applicants with a working understanding of Excel and PowerPoint (or similar equivalent), as well as experience in Sales will be considered as additional assets.
