The Valletta Film Festival is back for a third year between the 16th and 25th June, promising to kick summer off with ten days of films, discussions, classes and parties.

The highly successful festival will this year feature 40 films and over 120 screenings in five different venues around Valletta, ending with the giving out of 10 prestigious awards.

The Valletta Film Festival is also looking for volunteers to follow in the footsteps of over 200 people from around the world and help out in making this one-of-a-kind experience a reality. “Of course, there are exciting benefits such as being among the first audiences to see premieres of the best new independent films,” the organizers said. “But the real benefits of volunteering aren’t things, or even films; they’re the experiences.” If you’d like to volunteer, you can do so on their online application form.

In the meantime, we’d definitely recommend saving the dates!
