Day two is done and dusted, and as the initial excitement fades, the early-onset exhaustion kicks in. It’s right about now that you start to wonder: how long till the next big break? You do enough maths day-to-day, so we’ve done the extra leg work for you.
How long until…
1. Mid-Terms
26 school days left!
The first pause for breath is Mid-Terms, which usually happen around the first weekend of November.
There’s only 26 days with the kids in class left until your first pitstop.
2. Christmas Holidays
59 school days left!
Hooray – the first long break is less than 60 working days away (thank you, Public Holidays)! And those numbers aren’t even considering all the days lost to Christmas parties and school plays. Ho ho ho indeed!
3. Easter
128 school days left!
Sorry folks, this one’s a little bit further away, but hey – technically it’s only just over 25 working weeks, which sounds a lot more manageable.
4. Half Days
153 school days left!
Just 25 school days after Easter, you’re already coasting into half days! Sounds pretty sweet to us, you can almost hear the waves crashing on the beach.
5. Summer Holidays!
172 school days left!
And just like that, 19 half days later, you’ll be 100% beach ready. So with today done and dusted, all you have to endure is 172 days of school and you’re done… at least for one more year!
