International Fans Go Crazy Over Footballer’s Maltese Model Girlfriend

18-year-old Rangers F.C. defender Myles Beerman has been widely regarded as “one of the brightest prospects in Maltese football“. The teenager went from playing for Floriana to Manchester City over a couple of years, and one of his first ever appearances with the Maltese national team was the shocker-win over Ukraine back in June. Even with such a long list of accomplishments already under his belt, however, Beerman has instead been making headlines thanks to his Maltese girlfriend, Raisa Muscat.

The 22-year-old Maltese model has over 5,000 followers on her Instagram account, and she’s definitely bound to get a whole lot more judging by the recent comments and tabloid headlines which have come her way. “Can we sign her as well?” one Instagram user asked, while another continued by jokingly saying “she’s probably still better than half the team”.

The half-Maltese Rangers defender announced the new relationship with Muscat on Facebook and Instagram after returning to Glasgow, saying he’s “making things happen” and “going forward in life and creating opportunities” with the 22-year-old from Santa Venera.

Apart from being the brand ambassador of Miss Selfridge, Muscat is actually the owner of a popular Maltese pastizzeria chain. “You will be eating pastizzi for the rest of your life,” one of Myles’ family members joked.

Beerman has already started for the Rangers’ Under-20s this month, but the future holds even brighter prospects. The young defender hopes to play against Scotland and England in Malta’s upcoming World Cup qualifying matches, along with securing a first team place back at Rangers.

Earlier this year, the young star made the SPFL Team Of The Week for the first time ever… only a couple of months after actually passing his practical driving test. Back in April, the defender was reportedly on a mission to become “the most famous Maltese sportsman since Tony Drago.”

While we’d like to take this opportunity to wish Beerman the very best on his ever-intensifying football career, here’s to the stunning Maltese woman who’s been making just as many headlines and who’s showed unwavering support.
