The Spork: Introducing KSU’s Brilliant Invention To Help Tackle Single Use Plastic On And Off Malta’s University Campus

Malta’s University student council KSU have been trying to promote environmental sustainability for a while now, and their latest initiative is as devilishly simple as it is brilliant.

The spork, as the name implies, is a novel pocketknife which includes a spoon and a fork.

For the last two days, the spork has been distributed for free during KSU’s careers expo as a different memento to the clichéd notebooks and pens.

”The spork has been proving very popular with the students,” KSU President Carla Galea told Lovin Malta. “We keep getting requests for it. It comes in a reusable bag and if we still have any left after the careers expo which ends today, students are more than welcome to get one!”

The spork aims to further reduce the amount of single use plastic used on and off campus.
