Thrift Pop-Up Is Back With Another Event In Aid Of Nature Trust And Island Sanctuary Malta
Thrift Pop-Up Malta is back at the KSU Common Room once again for its seventh fashion-focussed event.
“As usual, our seventh Thrift Pop-Up Malta event will be organised in aid of The Island Sanctuary Malta and Nature Trust Malta. We are happy to be hosting over 13 local brands,” co-organiser and frequent cat fosterer Fran Falzon told Lovin Malta.
This is not the first time Falzon spoke to the newsroom about this charitable and thoughtful initiative, back in 2021, she dove deep into the origins of the project she shares with Fran Valletta.
“We wanted to be able to gather a community of clothing lovers and make them realise the beauty of shopping second-hand and not support fast fashion retail,” Falzon explained.
Falzon’s work for the community hasn’t gone unnoticed, earning herself a nomination for Freehour’s Youth Activist of the Year award sponsored by Lovin Malta.
