Lovin Malta’s Parliament Fashion Awards
This weekend’s political fashion statements raised some online controversy after people criticized MaltaToday for its post on the outfits of those taking their oaths of allegiance. But with so much focus normally placed on actual policy and discussions, seeing MPs all dressed up for an event that only happens once every five years is a little bit of fun we all enjoy.
1. Best Dressed Couple
Silvio and Deandra Schembri
Stylish, but effortless. An excellent look that just looks even better as a couple.
2. Most Mismatched Couple
Michael and Anna Falzon
The Minister’s wife looks fabulous and confident in her outfit, but his suit is in need of tailoring.
3. Best Tie
Chris Fearne
While Carmelo Abela won the best suit award, Chris Fearne’s tie stood out as a bold, but smart choice.
4. Best Dress
Michelle Muscat
Elegant, understated and a perfect fit.
5. Most BHS look
Claudette Buttigieg
The award title kinda says it all. It’s not a bad look, just not really inspired.
6. Most Things Happening In One Outfit
Rosianne Cutajar
The dress is cute, and so is the jacket. The bag is probably cute too… but all together it’s a bit much.
7. Hottest Look
Kristy Debono
8. Worst Tie
Chris Agius
Why.
9. Fiercest Look
Astrid Bartoli
It may be a little bit too black, but this look is so chic and the confidence is everything.
10. Most Stylish
Janice Bartolo
Rocking those Mediterranean vibes with a bold choice of colour that totally paid off – this was probably the outfit that had most people saying: I want that dress.
