Romanian actress and model Madalina Diana Ghenea is heading back on the rock very soon to film yet another production on the Maltese islands: “Lost Book of Creation,” which is believed to hold the secrets of the universe and the answer to why and how we exist.

Madalina is particularly known for her role in House of Gucci, where she played Sofia Loren.

Madalina was also in Malta in 2022 while filming the film Deep Fear which is a shark survival thriller film, along with Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick.

This time around, she will be starring in the “Lost Book of Creation”, a film which follows two adventurous archaeologists as they set out to find the legendary book which is “believed to hold the secrets of the universe and the answer to why and how we exist,” Variety announced.

“Filming starts next year in Malta,” wrote Matt Hookings, founder of Camelot films, the production house that is producing the upcoming film.

Not only is Hookings’ production house in charge of the film’s production, the actor has also written the script himself and will be starring alongside Romanian actress Madalina.

This film will be “part one of a new original franchise,” Hookings wrote.

In 2023, production house Camelot, the company behind Amazon film “Prizefighter,” featuring Ray Winstone and Russell Crowe, was the first international film production company to be awarded a business grant from Malta Enterprise, the Government’s agency responsible for the promotion of foreign investment and industrial development in Malta.

Camelot Films have launched a full-time base in Malta, producing a slate of films and co-producing third party projects that will be filmed on the island.

“Aside from Malta’s very generous 40% cash rebate, one of the most compelling reasons we chose to have a base in Malta is the quality and experience of the local crew,” Camelot films said.

“Lost Book of Creation” will also star popular comedian Bobby Lee, famously known for his portrayal of Mr. Lao in The Dictator.
