No Deaths Over The Past 24 Hours While Active COVID-19 Cases Rise To 1,309 In Malta

No deaths from persons positive for COVID-19 were reported over the last 24 hours.

Another 171 new cases were found alongside 51 new recoveries, bringing active cases up to 1,309.

A total of 48 patients are being treated for the virus in Mater Dei Hospital, three of whom are in the ITU.

The total number of deaths from persons testing positive remains at 614.
