Things All Maltese People Do After A Long Hard Day At Work

Working for five days a week just to be able to enjoy like 30 hours of weekend? Nah son, there’s time after work for us to enjoy ourselves.
We’re not going to be letting life pass us by. It’s about time we took our life into our hands and start spending quality time out of our boring daily routine. We know thinking is hard, and that’s why we’re here to think for you.
Here’s some ideas for you to do after work. Go nuts.
1. Get in bed and chill to some YouTube videos
Ok, so sometimes you just need a day at home. We’re the first ones to admit it.
Sitting at your desk staring at a spreadsheet for eight hours a day can drive you crazy, so going home, sitting on your chair, and watching YouTube videos till you eventually pass out is surely… better?

2. Hit the beach up
You can’t go to the beach at 5 because it’s… cold?
Stop whining. Your tan is ridiculous, you’re paler than a ginger in Iceland. It’s still damn hot at 5pm, and you’ll have the beaches all for yourself. Take a change of clothes with you to work, and show off some thigh when you’re leaving. Summer’s soon over, you might as well enjoy the last bit while it lasts.

3. Dranks
The ‘a’ s there to remind everyone that this is an Alcoholic drink.
What better way to relax than a cheeky cocktail with the boys or a pint with the girls? Or, you know, the other way round?
Whatever you drink and however bad your day was, there’s nothing quite like a mid-week get-together to help those dampened spirits.

4. Sweat it out
Go for a run to sweat out the stress, hit the gym and show those weights who’s boss or go hit the punching bag and picture that one annoying colleague’s face.
Exercise is definitely a good way to relieve stress, feel good about yourself, and improve your day.

5. Doing anything that involves friends
Yep, literally anything.
We’re cheating a bit with this one, but let’s face it; it all boils down to being antisocial, or anything but.
Go to the cinema, host a BBQ, eat out or grab a coffee (yeah, maybe we should have listed these).
As long as you’re not home alone, the possibilities are endless. Get out of that house and make the most of the day’s final hours. Sure, you might wake up more tired than usual the next day for work, but you can’t put a price on banter or memories.
