Eurovision Royalty Ira Losco and Chiara Shared The Stage For A Cabaret Special Last Night And We’re Living For It
What good is sitting, alone in your room? Come hear the music play! Malta Pride’s Oprheum Cabaret show was a huge success last night, featuring an all-star cast but the highlight of the night had to be the mashup of Eurovision royalty, Chiara and Ira Losco!
The superstar duo closed out the fantastic show in the most candescent of ways
The legendary duo came together for a performance of cabaret classic No More Tears (Enough is Enough) that was made iconic by Barbra Streisand and Donna Summers. Those two hags can now step aside, Ira and Chiara are here to stay!
The entire cast then took to stage for a final bow before the show closed off one of Malta Pride’s most electric nights so far.
Chucky Bartolo, Malta’s favourite drag queen, read some of our local celebs for filth and extended a sketch of his recent show, Suspicious Baggage.
The library was open and the reading specs were on. Poor Daniel Azzopardi.
Malta’s sin-sational siren, Undine Laverve, gave one hell of a performance
Showing off all the colours of her rainbow, the sexy striptease gave her all and twirled for days.
The Clintess debuted a song from her latest album and had some mighty fine dancers on stage, too
There was all that and more!
International superstar drag queen La Voix sang her pretty little heart out, Thomas Camilleri served for the Gods, and honestly if we were to list everything that went down we’d be giving too much away.
Clayton Mercieca, who runs Allied Rainbow Communities and is on the board of Malta Pride, said of the night:
“It was electric. People felt like they were brought together in a special way, and I feel like we need more of these events. Everyone just felt so free.”

The entire show was produced by the host of the night himself, Peter Carbonaro, who also acted as creative director for the event, so really we have him to thank for the legendary performance.
