Motorbike Rider Hit By Car And Taken To Hospital With Life-Threatening Injuries
At 11am a 24-year-old motorbike rider was taken to hospital with serious injuries sustained in a traffic accident on Triq Ħal Luqa, Ħal Qormi.
The injured party was riding a Kymco Agility motorcycle which collided with a Toyota Vitz being driven by a 31-year-old man.
This has been a particularly dangerous month for bike riders.
A medical team provided first aid on the scene before taking the motorcycle rider to the hospital for more treatment to his potentially life-threatening injuries.
Police investigations are ongoing.
