WATCH: Maltese Parody King Releases Anti-Development Song And Video
Daniel Dean Kingswell is back with another parody video, but this time, he wants to use his extensive reach online to raise even more awareness on the ever-increasing frequency with which large-scale building developments are cropping up around Malta.
Parodying Leona Lewis’ 2007 classic Keep Bleeding, Kingswell sings about how everyone in Malta just keeps building. “It’s the first time I’m trying to use my reach to maybe try and change something,” he explained. “I’m trying to get people more aware about the xeba building everywhere with the best way I know.”
This song was no doubt inspired by this week’s Manoel Island controversy, which even spurred a petition to turn the island into Malta’s very own Central Park. Kingswell refers to the Gżira project in his usual hilarious self, calling it “mmmmmmġġġ ĠOBON ĦAŻIN KOLLU.”
Also features Trump dancing to the words “Malta is sexy too”, because why not?
