WATCH: 20 Summer Nights Later, Fabrizio Faniello Has Released A Remix Of His Eurovision Banger… Featuring Claudia Faniello
If you haven’t yet gotten over Fabrizio Faniello’s 2001 Eurovision banger Another Summer Night, you’re in luck. Two whole decades later, the track is back – with some very notable differences.
That iconic Mediterranean guitar is nowhere to be heard this time round, instead being replaced by a very generous helping of summery electronic beats.
But there’s another even bigger change – Fabrizio’s sister and fellow Eurovision veteran Claudia is now also on the track.
To top it all off, the song released on YouTube alongside a lyric video featuring animated versions of the sibling-stars (which WiwiBloggs admitted does kind of “feel like the pair are staring into your soul for three minutes”) and stylised versions of Maltese landscapes.
In case this somehow doesn’t cure your Faniello itch, though, there’s a whole EP of Another Summer Night remixes. Yes, you read that right.
Released today, the aptly named Another Summer Night (2K21 Jubilee Remixes) boasts six tracks with a couple of remixes – and a “Sing Yourself Version”.
Consider your weekend plans sorted.
You’re welcome.
