WATCH: Ira Losco And Matthew James Inspire Hope For A Better Future In Latest Single ‘Tbissem’
Ira Losco and Matthew James have teamed up for an inspiring and hopeful track to help get the nation through (what we hope to be) the last chapter of the Covid-19 pandemic.
‘Tbissem’ is a Maltese song composed by Kris Spiteri and is the second collaboration between the two superstars, who deliver a breathtaking performance set to uplift you during the darkest Covid-19 days.
The music video was shot at night at Fort Manoel with just a few ambient lights to illuminate the setting as Valletta’s iconic facade sits in the background.
Together, Ira and Matthew sing about hope, love, inspiration and gratitude, touching on the beauty of life despite the turbulent times we find ourselves in.
With just some percussion, keys and acoustic guitars to accompany, Ira and Matthew James steal the show with their powerful voices complementing one another as they guide us through the track.
“We are all going through our own battles as little or immense as they might seem,” Ira said following the release of the track.
“But if we all check up on each other sometimes. A simple message, phone call or even just being considerate to each other. We can really ease the pain a bit” she said.
Prior to releasing the track, Ira urged artists not to lose their spirits in these extremely challenging times.
“There’s no limit and boundaries to creativity; we can still work on projects while following the measures. You can do stuff virtually, and while the concert feeling cannot be replicated online, you can still write and record while sticking to measures,” she said.
‘Tbissem’ was published by the government on the official Covid-19 Facebook page.
