Malta already has a couple of adorable animals going viral on Instagram. We’ve had Titti the diving dog, and Viserion Dragon Duck (second of his name). Now make way for Instagram’s newest babe: Mabel the pig. 

The extremely fancy name alone should point to an instant follow; adopted as a baby pig, Mabel is a 3-year-old Vietnamese pot-bellied pig living the life on Instagram with her owner Lizzie. 

Lovin Malta had a quick chat with Lizzie, who stated that Mabel is “a massive diva [and] doesn’t do anything she doesn’t want. She acts like an independent woman who don’t need no man.”

Lizzie goes on to tell us that Mabel is a big fan of almond biscuits and crisps (like the true Maltese pig that she is), and enjoys searching the soil for tasty tidbits. She’s also a killer snuggle-upper. 

Of course, caring for a pig is no easy task. Lizzie explained that pigs make great pets but a lot of preparation and time must be put aside to help train as well as integrate the pig into the family.
