Watch: Victoria Hotspurs Will Be First Ever Gozitan Club To Play In Maltese Football League
Victoria Hotspurs FC was approved for membership in the Malta Football Association yesterday, making it the first-ever Gozitan team to compete in the Maltese football league.
The club submitted its request for full membership to the Malta FA on 2nd October, 2023.

The vote on their membership saw 41 teams voting in favour, with 11 voting against.
Victoria Hotspurs will originally compete in the Amateur League II, with all matches to be held in Malta.
Victoria Hotspurs were crowned this year’s Gozo Second Division Champions after securing 40 points in April.
