It was a crazy day for love island yesterday as all 10 contestants were revealed throughout the day, starting from 8am and finishing at 5pm.

With all the hype, chaos and controversies already kicking off ahead of the Sunday debut, Lovin Malta’s David Grech Urpani sat down with Love Island producers Ben Camille and Martina Zammit for a juicy Q&A yesterday evening.

A number of clarifications and updates were given, including the exclusive update that people will be able to choose the first coupling thanks to a three-hour voting session which happened yesterday between 6pm and 9pm.

From islanders potentially being allowed to vote to the audience’s questions on a potential casa amor, the Q&A covered a range of topics.

One of the topics that came up was the possibility of contestants to vote in the upcoming MEP and local council elections on 8th June without having to leave the villa, with Producer Camille urging the Electoral Commission to come up with a solution.
