1. Xemxija Heritage Trail
Get your hamstrings working on the charming Roman road.
Along the trail, one can find Megaliths and a Roman Apiary. The further you walk the better it gets — a heritage trail complete with Burial Caves, Cart Ruts, Punic Tombs, and one of the oldest Carob trees on the island.
2. Tas-Silġ
The quaint walk in Tas-Silġ has much to offer.
Tthe beautiful San Niklaw Chapel and the vineyards surrounding it are already enough to feel at peace, but the Neolithic archeological site of Tas-Silġ is truly not to be missed. You can always go down to Marsaxlokk for a seafood platter afterwards anyway.
3. Il-Girgenti
You can walk to this gem from Buskett or Siġġiewi, but if you’re lazy or don’t feel like walking you can just drive to Girgenti.
4. Il-Maqluba
Walk around this giant sinkhole in Qrendi, if you’re lucky you might see our national bird — the area is known as a nesting site for the blue rock thrush.
