WATCH: Car Crashing Into Traffic Barriers Turned Into A Meme, Because Obviously
Earlier this month, a video of a white Toyota Vitz crashing into a couple of traffic barriers in front of Rabat’s Roman Villa surfaced online. The video quickly went viral, getting over 125,000 views and nearly a thousand shares. Now, the video just got a hilarious meme treatment, because this is 2017 after all.
The original video, which isn’t even half a minute long, shows a car speeding down the road in the Mdina direction from the Domus Romana. A man can be seen shouting, “Aremm, Aremm!” but it’s clearly too late, and the car ends up crashing into the barriers, which fly in all directions.
No one seems to have hurt in the incident, and as some people were quick to comment, the whole thing looks a little too orchestrated, but that didn’t stop the video from gaining tens of thousands of views. And it also left the air clear for any memes to show up.
None other than Malta’s meme King(swell) was the first to contribute, with a hilarious edit reminiscent of Nintendi Wii bowling games. After all, if we’ve being very honest to ourselves, the driver did manage to perfectly hit all the barriers. And if this were a game, they definitely won maximum points.
Judging by the recent regulations which were put in place, though, we’re willing to bet this stunt would’ve earned the driver points of a very different nature.
