WATCH: Destiny Finally Appeared On X Factor Malta Last Night And Yes, She Did Wipe The Floor With Every Other Contestant
Destiny Chukunyere took the competition to the next level with her amazing audition during last night’s episode of X Factor Malta, wowing the judges on their visit to Gozo in their hopes of finding ‘Michela 2.0’.
The Junior Eurovision 2015 winner has taken to a new, more mature platform to showcase her undeniable talent.
And rightly so, because this girl can sing, otherwise she wouldn’t have made it all the way to 6th place in Britain’s Got Talent semi-finals back in 2017. But now she’s nearing the middle of her teens, she wants to show us all she’s growing up gracefully.
The 16-year-old was sent straight through to Bootcamp with four ivas from the judges, with Ray Mercieca telling her that she “deserves to be a superstar”.
Howard Keith, back with the translating, had a feeling that Destiny’s emotion during her performance of Jennifer Hudson’s ‘Giving Myself’ was “spot on”, Ira can’t believe how “effortless” her execution was.
Destiny didn’t let the rush of excitement she felt for the day get in her way as she waltzed right through to the next stage of the musical talent show – but how are the rest of the contestants going to hold up against this powerhouse? We can’t wait for the drama.
