WATCH: Macedonian Vigilante Shouts Down St Paul’s Bay Neighbours For Leaving Trash In The Middle Of The Street

A Macedonian man in St Paul’s Bay who had enough of people leaving their rubbish bags in the middle of his road has done something about it. And that something was the man in question taking three whole days off work to stake out the corner of his street and film and call out any littering neighbours that come his way.
“I’ve made these videos because I wanted to show everybody that we need more people to do this if we want a clean world,” said Deso Mateski to Lovin Malta.
The Macedonian man, who was erroneously reported as Serbian, went to extra lengths to stake out the corner of his street for litterbugs: “I didn’t sleep for three whole days!”
He sent Lovin Malta a series of videos of his confrontations with local litterers
He stops an elderly man from dropping his rubbish
As well as this woman
He even confronts people as they begin to form a circle of trash in the middle of the road
And he clearly isn’t afraid of groups
Or the dark
With Mario Salerno, the ex-Mayor of St Paul’s Bay, saying “we need these type of people that love clean streets and are not afraid to stand up for cleanliness,” and some of his neighbours – but clearly not all – saying they hope he never leaves the neighbourhood, Deso might be giving back to Malta more than he expected.
Tag someone who has a trash problem!
