Another Two Bite The Dust: All Groups Sent Home On Second X Factor Malta Live Show As Individuals Sail Through
Fans of female powerhouses Xtreme and 4th Line were left shocked and saddened as the two most prominent girl groups in X Factor Malta were sent home.
The two girl groups, who were under the tutorship of Alex Alden, gave it their all in a throwback-themed show that saw them belt out some impressive vocals.
However, it wasn’t enough to keep them in the competition as neither ended up making the cut, with Xtreme garnering the least overall votes from the public, and 4th Line losing a sing-off with Ben Purple, who barely kept his place in the tournament.

With the judges not being able to agree on who was to be eliminated, last night’s X Factor Semi Final went to Deadlock, which meant the public’s voting had the final say on who was sent home.
The dramatic end to last night’s episode saw a visibly emotional Alex Alden lose all three of her groups, taking to stage to first tell the public they should be ashamed for voting out Xtreme, and then crying as she comforted an eliminated 4th Line.

Both Xtreme and 4th Line’s performers had entered X Factor Malta as individuals, but were formed into groups as the competition continued
While their X Factor Malta journey has come to an end for now, both groups pledged to continue and we might be seeing them around sooner rather than later.
