An 11-year-old boy was hit by a car in Pembroke on Friday evening, and has been taken to hospital with grievous injuries.

The 26-year-old driver from Fgura was in a Dacia Sandero when the accident took place on Alamein street at 7 in the evening.

Police investigations are ongoing, and updates with regard to the child’s status have not yet been released.
