13-Year-Old Malta’s Got Talent Semi-Finalist And Actress Makes It To The Voice Kids In Spain

13-year-old Malta’s Got Talent semi-finalist and actress Claudia Santamaria is making moves abroad, now securing her spot on The Voice Kids.
Last night, Claudia went on to the next phase of the show, after an emotional and exhilarating battle on the program that almost got her eliminated.
In what was described by the judges as the best battle of the program, Claudia sang, together with another two contestants, Oihan and Roberta, ‘When the Party’s Over’ by Billie Eilish.
Aitana, the Spanish pop star and team coach praised the quality of their performance, their amazing voices and personality and the outstanding teamwork displayed by the three contestants.
She admitted that the choice was the hardest yet, but finally decided to keep Roberta in her team, thus eliminating Claudia and Oihan.
However, not all was lost, since all of the coaches still had their steals available, thus giving Claudia another chance.
For the first time ever at The Voice Kids, and given that all three coaches wanted to “steal” one of the contestants, the presenter decided to make the judges race for the button. And so they did.
Singer and Musician Pablo López was the fastest and, after a most emotional speech in which he praised not only Claudia’s voice but her attitude towards life.
“If there were more people like you in the world there would be no wars, you are pure energy for us,” Pablo said, choosing to steal Claudia under his wing.
“Spain, our colleagues and ourselves need Claudia to continue in the program,” he stated.
After being robbed of her main role in Malta’s Matilda musical, the dream is continuing for Claudia.
Well done Claudia!
