Chubbz Burger Bar Posts Tribute For Birkirkara Hit-And-Run Victim

Chubbz Burger Bar posted a tribute to Khim Bahadur Pan who was the victim of the hit-and-run in Birkirkara on Sunday morning.
“We are heartbroken by the tragic accident that took his life this morning. Khim was part of our daily rhythm always on the move, helping connect us to our amazing customers. We are deeply thankful for his service and presence in our story,” wrote Chubbz Burger Bar on Facebook.
The Chubbz team described Pan as a kind and familiar face “who regularly picked up your Chubbz orders to deliver with care.”
A vigil was held by Nepalese nationals and a fundraiser has been set up to help repatriate Pun’s body to Nepal with more than €10,700 raised in just a few hours.
According to the police, the 42-year-old victim, who was a resident in Birkirkara, died after a Maserati Levante crashed into the Kymco motorbike he was driving.
The statement called for more attention on the roads, whether we’re driving, riding or walking. They also appealed to the public to respect everyone, slow down and to stay aware because “we are one community.”
