Today is International Coffee Day and what better way is there to celebrate than to explore some of the incredible coffee spots around Malta and Gozo?

Discover eight places around the islands where you can get the perfect brew to satisfy your caffeine fix, in no particular order.

1. Coffee Fellows

Founded in Munich, the coffee shop in Sliema is known as the “most sustainable coffee chain” offering speciality coffee, bagels and snacks in a laid back atmosphere.

2. Sea View Cafe

A picturesque cafe’ overlooking stunning views of Mellieħa Bay while sipping a delicious cup of coffee.

3. Lot 61

Possibly the best coffee roasters on the island with two locations, one in Valletta and the other in St Julian’s.

Their brews really hit the spot and they also provide top quality beans from around the world to some of Malta’s leading cafes.

4. Mumenti

This little cafe in the heart of Mosta prides itself on its high quality coffee and offering everything from the Chemex to V6 pour over options – if you are feeling adventurous – surrounded by vintage vibes.

5. Cafe Bunna

This is hands down the best spot where you can get your caffeine fix on the sister island. 

Not only is it great value for money, but drinking Bunna’s cappuccino feels like getting a super comforting hug from your favourite human.

6. French Affaire

This cute café is a total treat. Not only is their coffee super creamy and well made, but their pastries will literally make you cry tears of joy. 

7. Coffee Circus

Coffee Circus has various locations around Malta and Gozo and it is the perfect place to hang out with friends and sip some coffee while chatting the afternoon away.

8. Little Chief

Little Chief in Marsaskala has a menu which boasts a wide range of coffee drinks from your espresso machine-based coffee as well as V60, cold drip, batch brew, and the famous Italian moka pot from their slow bar.
