Heavy traffic is being experienced this morning in Santa Venera and the surrounding areas after a motorcycle got trapped between two vehicles.

The incident occurred at around 7.40am along the Santa Venera tunnels, direction South of Malta. 

As a result of the incident, traffic is being reported to have extended beyond the section of Regional Road that touches upon St Julian’s.

Transport Malta officials and an ambulance arrived on-site shortly after the incident happened.
