Traffic Accidents Drop, Yet Fatalities Remain A Concern, NSO Data Shows
Today, the NSO (National Statistic Office) published stats on road traffic accidents from the third quarter of the year.
From July to September, traffic accidents decreased by 10.9% with a total of 3,916 accidents reported and casualties increased by 0.8%, with seven road traffic fatalities when compared to the same period in 2024.
17.6% (690) of the total accidents occurred on Tuesdays and Birkirkara registered the highest number of road accidents with 224 cases.
