Watch: Clown Car? People Caught Exiting Boot Of White Taxi In Valletta
A white taxi was caught transporting people in the boot of a car, fitting seven in a vehicle with the space for four (excluding the driver).
Footage sent to Lovin Malta shows three people, including two children, exiting the boot of the car at Castille Square while another three left from the doors. The seventh passenger can be seen helping the people in the boot out before he retrieved his backpack from the car and while a buggy was also taken out from the back.
A witness informed the newsroom that the trip was from Mdina to Valletta: “I was behind him the whole way.”
Lovin Malta reached out to Malta Taxi, the association representing white taxis, to ask them if they have any information on what happened and why these people were in the boot of the car. The association is yet to respond.
