Fenech was summoned during the last hearing by Chairman Darren Carabott, after he put forward a request for Fenech to testify in its next sitting – to which there were no objections.

Fenech is currently being held at the Corradino Correctional Facility, and he is being transported straight from there today.

Meanwhile, a high-security plan has been devised for today’s hearing.

Fenech was an Electrogas director, who resigned from his position after his arrest in connection to the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia. He remains a company shareholder.
