Watch: St. Michael School Children Choir ‘Spread Joy’ To Elderly Homes For Heartwarming Christmas Initiative

In the spirit of Christmas, footage and images sent to Lovin Malta show Pembroke’s St. Michael School singing their hearts out to elderly homes.
The choir is led by Ms. Faye Micallef-Grimaud, and they dedicated their first term to preparing for Christmas carols as a heartwarming initiative this festive season.
The group of children “brought cheer to elderly homes and children’s wards at Mater Dei by singing, distributing Christmas gifts, and spreading joy within their community,” primary teacher, Faye stated.
Due to World Children’s Day on November 20th, students contributed funds to support this Christmas initiative, allowing the choir to give gifts to elderly people and children.
Primary teacher, Faye told Lovin Malta, “The sight of elderly residents and children facing health challenges dancing and singing along to festive carols was truly heartening, she continued by saying, “This initiative aimed at bringing joy to those facing challenging times during the holiday season.”
