The exciting first episode of The She Word – Young Women’s Edition officially launches tomorrow!

The newest branch of The She Word – a show led by veteran interviewer Trudy Kerr, giving Maltese guest speakers from all walks of life the opportunity to open up about their experiences, struggles and philosophies as women – is being hosted by Lovin Malta’s own Sasha Vella.

“The branch-off show is kicking off with Young Women with a Voice,” said Sasha. “This show is the brainchild of Trudy Kerr, but she’s really taken me under her wing.”

After the success of Trudy Kerr’s first season, a second season was launched, and this was so well received that Kerr decided to launch a Young Women’s Edition, while season three is also well on its way.

She decided that it would be most impactful if a young woman were to host a show that is directly targeted towards young women themselves.

Sasha was asked to host the young women edition – oriented towards people in the younger 16 to mid 20s demographic – after having been a guest herself on previous episodes of The She Word

Tomorrow’s launch episode will feature PN MP Eve Borg Bonello, social media influencer Sarah Grech and animal activist and CF survivor Fran Falzon – young women who have excelled, and continue to do so, in very different areas of Maltese life.

“We talk about subjects ranging from receiving death threats to being taken to court, and on to living with cystic fibrosis,” said Sasha.

Lovin Malta is The She Word’s official media partner, and will continue to provide updates as the show progresses, enriching the Maltese media landscape by injecting fresh perspectives which can no longer be overlooked.

Tune in tomorrow to listen to the first episode of this special edition, available on Youtube, Spotify, and Patreon.
