The 17-year-old English male that recently fell from Riviera Cliffs is out of the Intensive Therapy Unit (ITU), police told Lovin Malta.

The teenager had fallen from the height of around six storeys from the cliffs of the beach on 23rd August at around 8.15pm, shocking people all over Malta.

The teenager was rescued by a helicopter manned by the Armed Forces of Malta and was then lowered into the parking lot.

The rescue operation was carried out with assistance from the Civil Protection Department and Malta’s police.

An ambulance immediately took the teen to Mater Dei Hospital, and he was later certified to be at risk of dying and was receiving care in the ITU. However, he has now been discharged and is on the road to recovery.
