23 And 31-Year-Olds Arrested As Main Suspects Of Two Robberies In Valletta

A 23-year-old and a 31-year-old were arrested as the main suspects in relation to two robberies that occurred in Valletta last week.
Following intensive investigations, police managed to arrest the two young adults just days after the robberies took place.
The first robbery occurred on 7th March at around 5.15pm when Police were informed that two unknown men robbed a hotel along Triq San’t Orsla.
Two days later, on 9th March, police were informed that another robbery occurred in a shop situated along Merchants Street the night before.
Investigations later found that both robberies were initiated by the same two people, who were yesterday arrested at a Valletta residence.
They are both set to be brought forward in front of Magistrate Marseann Farrugia later on today.
