A 27-year-old Maltese man has been charged with domestic violence after allegedly dragging his underage girlfriend by the hair, threatening to shoot her and her mother.

The man, who is from Gzira, lived with his 15-year-old girlfriend at her mother’s house. He was also charged with threatening his girlfriend’s mother that he would throw her down from the penthouse.

TVM reported that the accused also threatened two police officers warning that he would go shoot them and then his partner.

He was also accused of disrupting the peace while drunk.

The suspect pleaded guilty to all charges when appearing in court with hand bandages due to injury.

The sentence will be delivered in June.
