28-Year-Old Sudanese Man Arrested In Connection With Marsa Stabbing
A 28-year-old Sudanese man has just been taken into custody by Malta’s police in connection with yesterday’s gruesome stabbing that left one man dead.
On 24th July at around 6.30pm, police were informed of an argument between two people in Triq Patri Feliċjan Bilocca, Marsa.
An injured and unconscious man was found on site with injuries caused by a sharp instrument.
The victim, who has not yet been identified, was given help by a medical team on location. He suffered four wounds to his chest and back.
The man was rushed to hospital but he died shortly after.
The 28-year-old Sudanese was arrested moments after the incident in a nearby street. A knife, which is believed that have been used in the murder was found in his possession.
The alleged attacker is being held at the Police Headquarters in Floriana.
Magistrate Caroline Farrugia Frendo is leading the inquiry, while police investigations are ongoing.
