A 50-year-old Żabbar man died earlier today while working on a house facade in Żejtun standing on a high-up, possibly due to natural causes.

The incident happened at around 11am this morning along a road in Żejtun, where the man was found unconscious by another worker.

Police told Lovin Malta that the man probably died due to natural causes. However, a magisterial inquiry is still underway to difinitively determine the cause of death. 

Members from the Police Force, Civil Protection Department, and Enemalta workers are on site in order to try to determine whether he died of an electrical shock.

Unfortunately, the man was certified dead on site.
