The 51-year-old motorcyclist who died on impact in an accident on the Coast Road yesterday has been identified as Frank Aloisio.

Aloisio was driving on the Coast Road at 6:15 pm when he lost control of his motorcycle, skidded and ended up between two barriers.

Family and friends have taken to Facebook to express their grief and shock over the tragic news.

The news of his death comes just days after 19-year-old postwoman Elenia Briffa died after her work vehicle overturned and landed on top of her.
